Amar was built on a simple belief: that a meal shared well is one of life's great pleasures. Rustic, refined, and rooted in the heart of Delray Beach.

I visited Amar for a special occasion with some girlfriends, and it was fantastic! The restaurant was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the service was great. We shared a bunch of dishes, and everything was so good. I especially loved the hummus and the fresh-made pita. The drinks were fantastic too — they use fresh-squeezed juice in the cocktails, which was a great touch. There was even a belly dancer, which was so fun to watch. Highly recommend if you’re in the Del Ray area!

Food was excellent. Parking lot attendant recommended the Hummus so I gave it a shot and it did not disappoint. Would actually love to have a chicken shawerma wrap with the chicken they put on the hummus. Was very good. The lamb chops were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Their homemade Harrisa is spicy but super good. Highly recommend and will be back!

Really really enjoyed. Went with large group and service was great. Did the prefix option and everything tasted delicious. Enjoyed various dips and meats. All food was soo great and delicious. Strongly recommend for north food, service, and atmosphere.

Omg! The Ave in Delray needed Amar!! Finally, something different aside from Mexican and Italian! The lamb chops are to die for. the rice is amazing, pitta fluffy and light and made in house. The lamb and beef kebabs were divine. Everything was amazing and don’t forget to top it off with baklava, which they also make in house. I love Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food and Delray really needed!

Honestly the best food we had in Delray. Kind and generous staff who made great recommendations about the menu. Loved the hummus with lamb, octopus over lentils and cauliflower. Amazing cocktails as well.
